Who we are
Health, dignity and well-being for the Adivasi communities of The Nilgiris
Vedha Trust works with the Toda, Kota, Kurumba, Irula, Paniya and Kattunayakan peoples of The Nilgiris. Many of these communities have little access to preventive health care.
Under our flagship programme, Yoga for Adivasi Welfare, we bring yoga, naturopathy, counselling and wellness education directly to tribal hamlets, schools and colleges. The programme has formal permission from the Government of Tamil Nadu Tribal Welfare Department, and every part of it is free of cost.
